The new climate stability electronics for the plics pressure transmitter is specially designed for applications in the food, dairy, beverage and paper industries. Pressure measurements in these industries are often affected by condensation in the open ceramic relative-pressure measuring cell. Since the formation of condensation cannot be prevented, a solution was developed by means of a protective atmospheric reference. The relative pressure is calculated directly in the electronics of the pressure transmitter.
